When we spent a day at the Geneva motor show this week, all eyes were on FT-86 - almost. Toyota’s new full hybrid, Auris HSD, made its first European appearance at the show and was admired just as much as the new sports concept.
What better way to begin my journey to Geneva to see the launch of Toyota’s new hybrid than in Toyota’s award-winning hybrid star, the Prius? A sprightly driver picked me up in one of the Green Tomato Cars at 4am, and off we set for Gatwick.
The world’s motoring press will be descending on Geneva over the next couple of days. The reason? The 80th International Salon Auto sees the world premiere of the new production-ready Toyota Auris HSD.
