iQ’s design makes it pretty flexible. Even so it’s turning up in a few odd places.
On Flickr, cava_cavien captured a Toyota event featuring iQ driving up the Sony building in Ginza district, Tokyo.
Continuing the vertical theme, another Flickr user spotted iQ parked above an entranceway in Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills development.

Things to do with iQ
Building anticipation
iQ goes on sale in Japan on 20 November, but the UK and mainland Europe have a few more months yet.
While we wait, we’ll be looking at some modern design icons.

iQ shorts
We’re enjoying a series of shorts produced to advertise iQ ahead of its Japanese launch.
In the first, a lone iQ performs a few litter-picking trick shots.
The second gives a great idea of iQ’s compact size, though we’re not sure we’d recommend the speed parking approach.
iQ all over the world
This week we’ve seen people painting iQ in Japan, and a German magazine starting a global rumour.
Now, an Indian motoring blog has a photo of iQ in road-going trim.

The picture [...]
Rumour mills
Rumours can be fickle. Just last week it seemed that the internet was abuzz with talk of iQ making it to US shores.
It’s still a topic of discussion, but this week’s speculation is that a convertible iQ is in the pipeline.
The rumour seems to have started with German magazine Auto Motor und Sport.
Our German is [...]
iQ paint contest
Toyota in Japan is running a competition to paint iQ.
We don’t speak Japanese, but after some trial and error we managed to clothe iQ in a photo we uploaded.
Our photo was a blue chair against an orange wall, but Flickr user fb5! has revealed iQ as a Jack Russell terrier.
Also on Flickr, Kanket has a [...]
