iQ scoops Good Design Grand Award
A month ago we wrote that iQ was up for the Grand Award in Japan’s Good Design Awards.
We’re delighted to report that it won.
The Jury had this to say: “The Toyota iQ proposes a new possibility to downsizing of cars with its new, ultra-compact, premium 4-seat automobile design transcending the conventional concept of small cars.
“There is no doubt that its smooth ride and safety features present a whole set of new ideas to the world’s compact cars.
“It will most likely introduce new concepts to our ideas for handling urban transportation, with its over-abundance of cars.”
