Long-time fans of our blog may remember the video of Robert Llewellyn reviewing the third-generation Prius as he washed it. You may also remember the RAV EV being featured on Carpool, Robert’s weekly video podcast series.
The premise of Carpool is simple: in each episode, Robert Llewellyn gives someone a lift in a hybrid or electric car – usually his Prius – and films the conversations he has. With over 2 million iTunes downloads in little over a year, it’s clearly a winning formula – and given that past guests include Stephen Fry, Sir Patrick Stewart, Quentin Willson and all of Robert’s Red Dwarf co-stars (to name a very few), this success comes as no surprise.
Given this, we’re very pleased to announce that Carpool is now being made into a TV show, and Toyota are the proud sponsors. The show will be broadcast on Dave from October this year, and will continue to be published online too.
We’ll keep you up-to-date with all the latest Carpool news, but in the meantime, who better to tell you more than the man himself, Robert Llewellyn?
