    1. Hi Kabir – we’ve not got any plans at the moment to do this however you raise a good point. What would you like to see in this anniversary edition if you were in charge of making it?

    1. Hi Bijo. The 10th Anniversary Prius comes in the T Spirit trim and therefore has Toyota Touch & Go+ as standard, which includes satellite navigation. Hope this helps!

  1. We have one and we always say that we would never change it for anything. It’s perfect for long distance journeys and we’re putting it to the ultimate test soon when we drive to Germany.. We really love it and we went for pretty much every option available. We have ours in Black and it looks amazing with the chrome trims

  2. Does anyone out there own a Prius 10th anniversary edition? It looks great and I’me thinking of getting one. I’me driving the latest model after being a bit sceptical about the concept and the car before getting one, I now love it and it’s brilliant to drive and very economical. But just wondered if the leather seats on 10th anniversary Prius make it a more comfortable ride and does the 10th anniversary edition handle any differently to the ordinary model?

  3. I’m thinking of buying a 10th anniv ed, but haven’t been able for see one for real. Please could someone who has, advise about the special leather seats…
Is the real seat still 60/40 split folding?
Are they the same depth as standard cloth seats, ie is rear legroom effected?
    thank you

  4. I have been driving an Avensis now for 10 years and the only complaints I have is:

    1. Dashboard grain pattern reflection on the front screen &

    2. The inability of the sun visor to stay put inbetween fully up & down. In the winter with low sun levels in the UK, it would be good to have a sun visor that is continuously variable, and also an extra pull out tinted poly carbonate or similar portion to extend the visor.

    1. Hi Andrew,

The Prius Plug-in Hybrid concept is currently undergoing evaluation in the UK as part of a lease trial programme, details of which can be found here. The final production model is scheduled for release in 2012. We will update the blog as soon as we have more information.

      Thanks for your question.

  5. My local dealers do not have any information on the 10th Anniversary special Edition. I have tried Cambridge and Peterborough. I would like a quote for Contract Hire. Do you know when the details will be available and when cars will be in the UK to see and drive?

    1. Hello Mr. Bradley,

Thank you for your question. The new Prius 10th Anniversary special edition is now available for order in the UK, however all reservations must be made at a Toyota Centre. To find your local Toyota Centre, please click here.

  6. I understand that a new Prius will be unveiled at the Detroit motor show in Jan 2011. Are there any significant changes planned to the UK Prius for 2011 and if so, when is information likely to be released?

    1. Hi Robert,

The current third generation Prius is still in the early stages of its lifecycle having only launched back in January 2009.

The Prius MPV that is being talked about for the Detroit motor show is a completely new car. At the moment we do not have any information regarding UK release but as soon as there is we will post it here on the blog.
