Toyota Yaris – Reversing Camera

Toyota Yaris Reversing Camera

The new Toyota Yaris makes it easier to see what’s going on behind you thanks to its rear-mounted reversing camera. Fitted as standard to Icon, Sport and Excel models as part of the Toyota Touch 2 multimedia system, it gives you an extra set of eyes to keep your car free of bumps and scrapes.

Watch us demonstrate the merits of the Yaris reversing camera with the help of Keith, who’d love to know what’s going on behind him:

The reversing camera on the Toyota Yaris is discreetly mounted above the number plate, and uses a high quality, wide-angle lens to capture a clear view of the area behind the car with as a wide a field-of-view as possible.

Each time you engage reverse, the camera’s view is streamed on the Touch 2’s central 7″ touchscreen display, complete with a helpful visual overlay that gives you an indication of direction and distance. A crystal clear image will help you to easily spot obstacles like bollards or kerbs that you might not be able to see using the door and rear-view mirrors.

With the added protection afforded by a better view of what’s going on behind your Yaris, you can be confident there’s little chance of accidentally reversing into unseen objects, so your day is going to be better all round!

Investigate the Yaris reversing camera for yourself by popping along to your local Toyota dealer – and remember that the best view is the one from the driver’s seat. For more information on the new Yaris, head over to the designated section of the Toyota UK website.
